Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud: Salman bin Abdul Aziz is the King of Saudi  Arabia. He Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. King Salman is the son of Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud. Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud was the founder of Saudi Arabia. Salman became king of Saudi Arabia in 2015. He is still in power as King of Saudi Arabia.

Full Name: Salman bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman bin Faisal bin Turki bin Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Saud.

Born: 31 December 1935 AD. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Father’s Name: Abdul Aziz Ibn Saud.

Mother’s Name: Hassa bint Ahmad Al Sudairi.

Predecessor: King Abdullah.

Dynasty: Al Saud.

Religion: Islam (Sunni).

King Salman was born on 31 December 1935 AD. King Salman is the 25th son of Ibn Saud. Salman completed his primary education at Prince’s school in the capital Riyadh. This school established by Ibn Saud to provide education for his children. He studied religion and modern science.

Governor And Power Increase: Salman was appointed Deputy Governor of Riyadh province on 17 March 1954. At that time his age only 19 years old. He held the post until 19 April 1955. Then he was appointed the provincial governor on 5 February 1963. He held the post until 5 November 2011. On 5 November 2011, Salman was appointed second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. Salman was named a member of the National Security Council (NSC).

Crown Prince: On 18 June 2012, Salman was appointed as Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. He has come to power after the death of his brother Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Prince Salman was also made first Deputy Prime Minister.

Became King: King Abdullah died on 23 January 2015. On January 23, 2015, Salman bin  Abdul Aziz came to power as the King of Saudi Arabia. King Abdullah appointed his younger half-brother Muqrin as Crown Prince on the day of his death.

Changes Crown Prince: In April 2015, King Salman appointed Muhammad bin Nayef as the new Crown Prince to replace Prince Muqrin. King Salman made his son Muhammad bin Salman as the Deputy Crown Prince. King Salman removed Prince Muhammad bin Nayef on 21 June 2017. After that, Mohammad bin Salman was appointed Crown Prince.
